If you've found your way to this page then you must be someone who wants the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth... about the man behind the "Roy" illustrations at least.

The career of Chris Taylor officially began in 1986 with his first publication appearing in the globally esteemed and renowned Bacchus Marsh Telegraph. Since, his cartoons have appeared in publications across the globe including The Herald Sun (AUS), The London Paper (UK), The Daily Telegraph (UK), The Big Issue (AUS), mX newspaper (AUS).

To date "Roy" has also illustrated and co-authored a collection of zany children's books on a wide variety of subjects from Aussie Football Anthems to Time Travelling Toilets. If you'd like to learn more about these then this is the link you'll want to click!

It's not all about cartoons though, the surrounds of his home in the Macedon Ranges has inspired a collection of prints that capture the region's iconic landmarks, and in addition, Chris loves to put his creativity to the test with almost any custom theme requested.

In his spare time, Chris loves to travel with his family, spin the odd record, activate "sports-dad" mode without warning and admits he really enjoys a good pair of slacks.
Yep, that's Roy!
(Aside from an extra 6 feet of height and some stubble, not much has changed over the years!)
